The Province of New Brunswick joins the confederation1 July 1867. New Brunswick is located on the east in Canada on the Atlantic coast and is one of the three province in the Maritime Provinces and is ranks 11th in total land area. The province is ranks 8th in population with almost 0.751 million residents in 2008. The Capital City is Fredericton. Largest Cities: Saint John, Moncton, Mirmichi, Riverview. The official languages in New Brunswick are English, but only 64,80% talk it and 32,61 talk French. New Brunswick has a very mix of ethnicity and race; Canadian 33.7%, French 26.9%, English 23.0%, and 16,4% a mixed background. New Brunswick is bordered Atlantic Ocean to the north and Quebec, Prince Edward Island and Atlantic Ocean to the east, Nova Scotia to the south and USA with the state Maine . On New Brunswick is the forestry industry for timber, wood, lumber, wood pulp and paper products, The second industry is mining of silver, lead, bismuth, potash, cadmium, coal, copper, natural gas, gold, oil, peat, tungsten, silica, salt and zinc. Followed by commercial fishing after seafood, lobster, king crab, scallops and farming of Atlantic salmon. The agriculture branch is dominated by Milk, forage, poultry, potatoes, cattle and daily products. Tourism is like every province in Canada a good economic sector with culture and historical heritage and outdoor activities such as hunting, camping, hiking, river and coast fishing.
