Kansas largest industrial outputs is in commercial and private aircraft with Spirit AreoSystem, who is building many important pieces of Boeing 737 and 787 and also for Airbus, Raytheon and the military. Also produce Kansas chemical products, food processing, transport equipment, machinery, wood products and mining. The famous army base, fort Riley in northeast Kansas with over 25.000 people working and training is one of the largest in US.
