Missouri is the second large farmer state in U.S. after Texas and was one of the large slave’s states in the 18th century and from the American Civil War, Missouri, like many other southern states, suffered economic hardship. Today are still the farmer and the food producing the largest incomes for Missouri with cotton, soybeans, corn, hay, poultry, cattle, pork, chicken, eggs, and dairy products. Missouri is the home state for the Beer (Budweiser) and other important industry products is electrical equipment, aerospace, transportation equipment, chemicals, printing/publishing, and light manufacturing. Wine industry is goring stronger and stronger in Missouri.
Missouri has many mined and they take up coal, lead, (largest state in U.S.) Portland cement, lime and crushed stone.
