Maryland has one of the strongest economies in U.S. because of that many people of Maryland are working in the neighboring state Washington. Maryland has also a huge port of Baltimore. One of the biggest in U.S. Maryland’s agriculture is an important part of the state's economy. One is commercial fishing in Chesapeake Bay of oysters, striped bass, menhaden and blue crab. Other important agriculture is cucumbers, sweet corn, tomatoes, watermelon, tobacco, muskmelons, peas, squash and chicken-farming. Maryland is a very popular for tourism.
