The EU has made a proposal for price caps on so-called roaming traffic – mobile traffic that crosses another operator’s network. The proposal is that in the EU maximum cost € 0:49/megabyte, writes Computer Sweden.  The big telecom companies do not like that, so they have decided to take the matter to court.

In May 2007 the European Parliament decided to make a prize-winner of 49 cents for mobile calls abroad.
