Summer means hot.  Spain – Germany in David cup in Marbella, what more can you have in one week. Of course – 1 million tourists is also here. In LifeHacker did I found a fun post that lists a wide range of background images to Windows, based on known and classic video games. The pictures are not only screenshots but is designed and really smart. I chose one of the  wallpaper to a Super Mario-inspired image to show you one of them. Altogether, these are 21 background images that are all in widescreen format.

I am very fond of the typography and fonts. A contract looks more elegant with a beautiful font. On Sundream Estate have we found that clients who buys luxury villas and apartments want an elegant contract, more than the buyers of a normal apartment. Now I found a good list that fits nicely to link to. Web Design Ledge has looking up 30 elegant serifs, fonts that you can free download and use freely.

For those of you who are not familiar with the concept of serifs, so I can tell you that it’s the small tag located on the characters. Take a look at the letter T. In a serifs font, you will see tags reside at the edges and bottom. This compares with a sans-serif font (or linear type, also can call it in English) without serifs.
Times is an example of a common serifs font. Helvetica (Arial) are examples of without serifs.

Economic fonts have started to appear in crisis times. I found an article from Smashing Magazine where they lists 15 free fonts, more or less good. In their list are also Eco Font, a font where the letters have small holes which pull down about 15% on ink usage.
