Cuil is one of the latest and new search engines on the web. I have testing the site in a few days now, and find it an interesting challenger to Google. Google is still the King on the search with nearly 64 percent of U.S. online searches. What makes Cuil special is that they have indexed so incredible number of web pages in its database. They have three times as many pages as Google and ten times as many as Microsoft Live.
The site Cuil is very clean. There are not a lot of graphics and clutter; it has only a small logo and a search box. During my test, found I that the search engine hits really well. The results are presented in an orderly and neat manner, and also sometimes Cuil download images from websites to make the results more attractive and easier to filter in. My site with keywords property Marbella, Marbella apartments, Marbella villas and Marbella luxury villas was at the top on Cuil.
I can take this opportunity to also mention Wolfram Alpha, as many pointed out as a competitor to Google. Why, I do not know, because I do not think they are a search engine. It is rather a large database of information. If you are going to do calculations, is Wolfram Alpha very good, but if you want to find a web page, send Wolfram Alpha you further to Google.
