Well the short answer is not very much but realistically it can just about buy you a nice two bed apartment in Nueva Andalucia or La Quinta golf.
However besides what the World outside of Spain would have you believe to enjoy Marbella ideally you want a minimum budget of €250,000 and then you have much more choice and can find something really nice that you could enjoy and live in full time.
A good example of this is a good friend of mine who has an Apartment in Mira Golf and has completely reformed the apartment so much so its easily the best apartment on that development and something I could sell very easily for €260,000 however the bad news for all you would be buyers out there is that my friend after doing all the hard work doesn’t want to sell it, not until after the summer at least.. The reason I mention this is within Nueva Andalucia you can maybe buy an apartment for €180,000 Euros which would be making severe compromises and then you walk into my friend’s house which is top class, top style and top location and probably €90,000 more but a home you could live in for the foreseeable future. So the question then remains what you buy Value for money with compromises or top quality but not necessarily top value for money! As they say you pay your money and make your choice.
The other thing is Marbella unlike other areas of Costa del Sol really has now come off the bottom and there just isn’t the same deals out there as there was in 2009. This also begs the question about what your definition of Marbella is. Some people include Elviria to Cancelada but for me it’s pretty clear for me it’s from Los Monteros to Puerto Banus & Nueva Andalucia. In other areas such as Elviria and Costalita you can buy something very nice for €200,000 but for me it’s not Marbella.
As they say location is everything and real Marbella costs real money.
