In the last 10 years Costa del Sol has change a lot, from many small shops every where in the streets to more centralize, like the rest of Europe. We have got many shopping centres, department’s store. Today we have five huge good and modern shopping centres from Malaga International Airport to Estepona, with very good located situation near the Road N 340 along the coast line, who can offers you all type of food, wine, ladies fashion, men wear, shoes, perfumes, cosmetics, jewellery, gold, gifts, accessories, art and auctions, electric equipment, music, furniture, toys, flowers, books, movies, restaurants, bars, cinema, etc.

El Corte Ingles.

The first one of the markets was the 4 levels high and famous, (Spain’s favourite shopping store) El Corte Ingles in Marbella’s Puerto Banus in 1999 with a large Hipercor hyper-market and a two floor underground car park.
The luxury shopping centre has many shops in shop with all the famous ladies fashion and men wear, international boutiques, footwear, perfumes, cosmetics, accessories. food, wine, gold, jewellery, watches, gifts, furniture, art gallery, home design, kitchen furniture, household goods, crystals, IT, electrical appliances, books, etc. And a large Hipercor hyper-market who is well-know for quality food and wine. La Canada.

After came La Canada in Marbella in year 2000. Situated on the north side of the road N 340 on Marbella. It is the large shopping centre on the coast, you can find everything there. The shopping centre has over 150 shops in two levels. The larges one is the huge Alcampo supermarket with food, wine, clothes, furniture, computers, televisions and more. The Centre has more than 50 fashion and accessory stores.
The most popular are Zara, H & M, Mango, Massimo Dutti and many more boutiques. Sport shops, perfume shops, beauty shops, home and furniture shops. Marina Banus.

Marina Banus shopping centre is in two levels, situated directly opposite El Corte Ingles in Puerto Banus was open 2002 as a complement and a competitor to the bigger one, El Corte Ingles. It has over 30 shops, boutiques, bars and cafes. Most of the fashion shops come from the chain stores of Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Adolfo Dominguez, etc. You can also find shoes shops, jewellery, glasses, and many more nice shops and it has direct access from the car park. Plaza Mayor

Closed to Malaga International Airport in 2004 opened the huge Plaza Mayor in Malaga, a new centre for leisure and enjoyment. It’s a great place to have fun. The design of Plaza Major has been inspired by the traditional architecture of Andalusia.
It recreate a typical Andalusia town with its streets, squares, facades, roofs, green zones and fountains The 20.000 m2 has everything for everyone. A multiplex cinema with 20 screens, a big bowling and entertainment centre, over 50 bars, tapas, local and international restaurants, many discos and nightclubs, more than 25 different shops ( some are outlets), health & fitness gym and a huge free parking place for over 3000 vehicles. Parque Miramar.

The last one is Parque Miramar Shopping centre in Fuengirola , a three levels department store, who was opened in 2004 with over 140 shops including the larges Eroski supermarket who has everything you need, food, wine, clothes, shoes, garden, furniture, house kipping, electronic, radio, TV, DVD, music, gold, etc.
Miramar has many fashion shops from the chain of stores as Pull & Bear, Pepe Jeans, Adolfo Dominquez, Zara, Mango, Benetton, Springfield, Massimo Dutti etc. The shopping centre has also a large range of different shops like shoes, electric equipment, jewellery, perfumes, cosmetics, gifts, homes, furniture and services shops as Pressto dry cleaning, key and shoes reparations, etc.
