You can find many small lovely local tapas places in the old village in the town hall. Chinese’s restaurants, Indian restaurants and bars are around Centro Commercial Elviria. Cabopino harbour can offer you in a relaxed atmosphere a couple of well renowned restaurants.

In the middle it is the Centro Commercial Elviria built in Moorish style with Supersol, OpenCor, SolBank, hairdresses, and many small shops, bars and restaurants. In the old village around the town hall they are the post office, locksmith, pet shop, percents chop, Sol Bank, boutiques, bars, restaurants and small shopping centre. OpenCor has 3 grocers’ shops in the area. Every Friday is the local market day, close to Sol Bank at road N-340.
Schools in Elviria.
One of the best known international schools on the coast is the English International College, (EIC), in the Ricmar urbanization in Elviria. Those who are interested in high quality Spanish schooling for their children can enrol girls and boys respectively in Ecos and Las Chapas, a private Catholic schools run by the Grupo Atendis, and they offer a high quality Spanish education and they are located in El Rosario. State-funded schooling is available in Elviria.
