Google and the Spanish property market.
The larges search engines on internet today is Google, Yahoo, Alta vista, MSN. Google is the largest with 70-75% of the market in Europe and 55-60% in the rest of the world. They have together 700 millions searches every day around the world.
When people start thinking buying a Spanish property, 95% starts first to search on internet and get as much information they can about the country, town, area, climate, living, schools and of course about Spanish property. Prices, quality, size, real estates and the market.
When they have found some good and interested properties. Then they contact the real estates. But are you on the first page on Google or Yahoo?
Keyword, what is it? Granada, Marbella, properties!
Keyword is what people use when they search on internet to find the information they are looking for. In you web descriptions you can see which word your website has in the Title, Meta keyword and Meta description.
Every company has different keyword, depends on what they are best on, maybe Granada , Marbella, properties, new construction, fincas, mortgage, etc. The list can bee so long as there are agents. Many real estates don’t have a keyword in the description.

Today People are more precise using keywords phrases when they search. They search e.g. Marbella apartment for sale, Spanish property in Sotogrande or Spain villa in Granada. They get the result on Google e.g. Fincas Jaen 91.700 webpage’s, Marbella property 1.260.000 webpage’s and on Spanish property 9.600.000 webpage’s.
Investigation show that 80% of the internet people find what they search at the first page and so little as 2-3% read after page 3.
